SOCAR head assesses gas agreement with Gazprom

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev said the company signed an agreement with the Russian Gazprom on very favorable terms.

 
He said the document stipulates an increase in the volume of the Azerbaijani gas purchases by Russia up to 3 billion cubic meters a year. The terms of the 2009agreement remain in force. "The agreement was undersigned on very favorable terms for us," Abdullayev said.
