ADB to present draft strategy on Azerbaijan

Asian Development Bank (ADB) intends to expand participation in development of Azerbaijan. Head of ADB’s Baku office Olli Norojono has reported that primary variant of the strategy will appear in April.

"It will be submitted to Azerbaijani government and final variant of the strategy will be prepared taking into account the government’s recommendations by late 2012. The strategy will be designed for 5 years. The business plan for the next 3 years will also be renewed",-O.Norojono said. In his words the strategy development is based on bilateral negotiations given Azerbaijan’s interests and priorities.
