Tender on highway expansion announced in Azerbaijan

Azeryolservis of Azerbaijani Transport Ministry has announced pre-qualify in the frame of the 45-66,3 km section of the road Baku-Shamakhi-Mughanli expansion from two-lane to four-lane, said a statement in Khalq qazeti newspaper. Construction of a two-lane highway was completed in 2010.

Work in this area is planned for the funds allocated by the structural units of the World Bank - International Development Association and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The invitation to tender is scheduled for May 2012. The fee for participation in the tender is 150 manat or $190. Documents for preliminary qualifying stage of the tender can be obtained from the January 5.
