Deals worth $2.1mln concluded on BICEX

The weighted average exchange prices made up 0.7857 AZN for 1 US dollar in the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICEX) on January 5.  The average-weighted dollar exchange rate was 0.7857 AZN at the morning session on US currency in the BEST (Bourse E-system of trades). Deals were not closed on the instrument USD/AZN T+0.

At the afternoon session in BEST, deals were AZN 1,651,650 on instrument USD/AZN T+0. Manat exchange rate remained 0.7854 AZN FOR 1 USD.  The volume of trades totaled AZN 1,651,650 (USD 2,100,000) on the instrument USD/AZM for both sessions.

The deals on the instrument USD/AZM T+1, T+2 and SWAP USD/AZN were not registered. No deals were made on Instrument RUB/AZN.  In the inter-bank credit market functioning in the framework of BEST, BakiBOR index counted in line with requests made by market makers constituted 12,50% in AZN on 90 day-instruments and 12.94% in USD.  No deals were closed on credit instruments between the banks on January 5.
