Minister: All kinds of sports must be developed in Azerbaijan

All kinds of sports must be developed in Azerbaijan, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said during a meeting with members of the benchrest shooting team, the Ministry said on Saturday.

The main purpose of the meeting is to congratulate the winners of the Benchrest Shooting Grand Prix tournament, held in Baku from September 24-29.

"I met with golf and rugby players, included in the 2016 Olympics," he said. "It is also necessary to develop these kinds of sport."

Then the awarding ceremony was held.

About 31 sportsmen from the four countries participated in the tournament. Nine winners were awarded.
