Azerbaijan joined 2012 Chef de Mission seminar in London

Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzadeh, Chef de Mission for Azerbaijan Ilham Madatov and representative of the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee Konul Nurullayeva took part in the Final Chef de Mission seminar in London.
Over the last three days, Chef de Missions and delegates from around 200 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) have been in London to receive an update from the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) about the London 2012 Games.

The Chef de Mission seminar is a chance for team leaders from NOCs to receive an update from all departments at LOCOG and ensure that they have the latest information about London 2012 so that their teams are well prepared for the Games next year.

During their three-day visit, the Chefs attended meetings on a wide range of topics, including ticketing, accommodation, accreditation and ceremonies. They also visited the Olympic Park and Olympic Village, as well as Horse Guards Parade where the Beach Volleyball Test Event is taking place.

The Chef de Mission seminar is a milestone for any organising committee as it articulates the service levels that will be provided to the NOC, its athletes and its team officials. This will be the final Chef de Mission seminar before the start of the London 2012 Games.
