Security forces on Monday killed Pjak terrorists who had earlier exploded Iran-Turkey gas pipeline, Trend reported quoting Iranian Intelligence Ministry's press release.
Earlier, Iranian Youth Journalist Club Agency reported that three members were killed and four terrorists were arrested by security forces early morning.
Iran has started attacking on Party for Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK) since last month. Iran says that more than 50 Pjak members have been killed during military operations against this terrorist group.
An anonymous official said in an interview with Youth Journalist Club that this group, led by a Turkish citizen, has come from Iraq to commit terror attacks in Iran.
"This group exploded the Iran-Turkey gas pipeline on 29 July," the anonymous official said.
Iran has recently deployed 5,000 military forces in the northwest of the country along its common border with the Iraqi Kurdistan region.
Members of the terrorist PJAK group - an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers' Party - regularly engage in armed clashes with Iranian security forces along the country's western borders with Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
