Georgian president opens health center on Mother's Day

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili opened a Medical Center David Tatishvili in Tbilisi on the Mother's Day. The Centre will work in several directions.

In particular, it will have department for children and pregnant women, surgical ward and hospital. The Centre is fully equipped with modern apparatus, it employs 150 people.

Saakashvili said this clinic fully meets modern standards. "The insurance industry in the last period of quite acute, and non-secured people also mat turn to this center. In accordance with the Modernization plan, all clinics in Georgia must reach modern standards up to 2015," Saakashvili said.

He thanked David Tatishvili for opening the new center.
