Turkish President visits historical places in Tabriz

Turkey's President Abdullah Gul visited historical places in Tabriz, the last stop of his formal visit to Iran.

Turkey's President Abdullah Gul visited on Wednesday historical places in Tabriz, the last stop of his formal visit to Iran.

Gul began his talks in Tabriz by meeting Ahmed Alireza Beigi, the governor of East Azerbaijan Province of Iran.

President Gul then attended a luncheon hosted in his honor by Beigi. After the luncheon, Gul visited historical sites in Tabriz, including museums and madrasah.
