Azerbaijani community of Crimea made an appeal to Verkhovnaya Rada and the Council of ministers of Crimea for a proposal to establish closer cultural and economic relations between the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine) and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (Azerbaijan).
“Today investors from Azerbaijan, unfortunately, are less presented in Crimea, though “first swallows” already exist. It would be great if ties between Crimea and Azerbaijan, both cultural and economic, broaden. In Soviet period thousands of Azerbaijanis restored their health in Crimea”, the letter says.
“Establishment of close ties with Nakhchivan will contribute to the more proactive relations with Azerbaijan and attraction of Azeri investors to Crimea”, Chairman of the Crimea Azeri community Rahim Humbatov said.
