Azerbaijan's sports minister meets athletes in Olympic village in Singapore

Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov and vice-president of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade have met with Azeri athletes at the Olympic Village (YOV) in Singapore.

Rahimov thanked Azerbaijani athletes for "brilliant performance". The Azeri minister expressed confidence they would gain further sucesses in the Olympics. Huseynzade also praised the Azeri athletes' winning medals. "All these achievements are the result of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's attention to sport in the country," he said.
