Azerbaijani wrestlers to vie for medals in Russia

Azerbaijani Greco-roman junior wrestlers will compete in an international “The Samurgashev brothers' Prize” tournament starting in Rostov-on-Don, Russia on Friday.

Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Karim Jafarov weighing in at 42 kg, Elvin Aliyev and Sakit Guliyev at 46 kg, Rashad Shukurov and Rauf Alakbarli at 54 kg, Khalid Aliyev at 58 kg, Huseyn Shiraliyev at 63 kg, Elshan Novruzlu at 69 kg, Anar Rasulzadeh at 76 kg and Turman Eyyubov at 85 kg. The coaches of the national team are Rasim Agayev and Afsar Namazaliyev.
