Azerbaijani defense minister heads to Dushanbe

Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev left for Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan on Nov. 9 to attend the meeting of CIS defense ministers, the ministry’s press service said.

The issues of military cooperation within the framework of CIS will be discussed at the meeting.

Defense Minister Safar Abiyev’s official visit to Tajikistan begins will begin from Nov. 11.

The prospects of bilateral military-technical relations will be discussed during the visit.
