Washington supports presidents’ efforts to seek resolution to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: U.S. deputy secretary of state

“U.S. firmly supports efforts by the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents to seek constructive solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which will benefit both sides and region."
First U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James Steinberg told reporters in Baku on July 11.

“I think such constructive approach held by all conflict participants is the best chance to meet interests of both nations,” he said.
