Heads of Council for Press visit Lenkoran, Azerbaijan

Day.Az reports that the visit to Lenkoran aimed to familiarize  with the execution of the program "On Socioeconomic development of regions" on the spot.

The arrangement was attended by 15 media leaders, including Aflatun Amashev, Elchi Shikhli, Agil Abbas and others.

Chief of Lenkoran executive powers Suleyman Magerramli told the visitors about measures taken for implementation of the program "On socioeconomic development of regions". The guests visited a number of recently commissioned establishments, including garment factory, Regional Diagnostics Center, Khazar-Lenkoran stadium, Olympic Complex, Regional Center of Recovery and others.

By results of the visit, the members of the council met with the local community. The meeting participants discussed the state of regional mass medias, along with the fulfillment of the aforementioned program.

It should be added that before that the members of the council also held meetings in Yardimli, Yevlakh and Terter. They are also expected to visit other regions.
