MPs to attend PACE Monitoring Committee meeting

A parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan consisting of Chairman of the Milli Majlis Standing Commission on International and Interparliamentary Relations, Head of the Azerbaijan permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Samad Seyidov, and members of the Milli Majlis Gultakin Hajiyeva and Aydin Abbasov will be in Strasbourg from March 26 to 29 to attend the meeting of the PACE Monitoring Committee.

The meeting's agenda includes consideration of draft reports and adoption of draft resolutions on the honoring of obligations and commitments to PACE by Azerbaijan and Monaco; statement by the co-rapporteurs on their fact-finding visit to Ukraine, statement by the co-rapporteurs on the local elections in Albania, monopolization of the electronic media and the possible abuse of power in Italy, authorization of fact-finding visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Serbia, and other issues.
