Vugar Hashimov claims bronze in Capelle de La Grande

Azerbaijani chess player Vugar Hashimov has won bronze medal in Capelle de La Grande which took place in France.

Though he beat Russian player Dmitri Bocharov in the final, he was ranked the third according to the points, APA-Sport reports quoting official website of the competition.

Other two Azeri players didn't earn medals in the tournament. Nijat Mammedov took 93th place with 5.5 points after 9 games. Serkhan Guliyev is 128th among 606 participants. Heshimov had won gold medal in the same tournament last year.
