Labor and Social Protection Ministry prepares proposals on amendments to Family Code

The proposals will be presented to the Parliament soon, stated minister Fuzuli Elekberov.

He said that bureaucratic obstacles on delivery of targeted social assistance benefits will be removed, APA reports.

The minister noted that 2006 prognosis was worked out in accordance with 2005 results.

The prognosis showed that the assistance should have been delivered to 172.000 families. But as people's living conditions is improving, less families received social assistance, he said.
