Azeri judo wrestlers to join World Cup

Azerbaijani judo wrestlers capturing three medals in Super World Cup in Paris last week are preparing to the next competition.

They are going to join the qualifying for World Cup in Czech Republic and Poland, head coach Ibadulla Shabanov told APA-Sport.

He said Azerbaijani woman team composed of Sona Ahmedli, Gulshen Shirinova, Turane Seyidi (52 kg), Kifayet Gasimova, Ramile Usubova (57 kg), Shahane Almemmedova and Guzel Zutova (63 kg) will attend competition to start March 3 in Prague.

Wrestlers Nijat Shikhelizade (60 kg), Ramil Gasimao, Elchin Ismayilov (66 kg), Museyib Jafarov, Elnur Mammedli (73 kg), Mehman Azizov, Elkhan Radjabli (81 kg), Elkhan Mammedli (90 kg) and Movlud Mireliyev (100 kg) have been included in man team. The men's competition starts March 3 in Warsaw.
