Minsk hosts meeting of the CIS heads of Security Bodies and Intelligence Services

At the action, discussed were issues of protection of the information space of Commonwealth member states connected with the latest strengthening of information clash.

Azerbaijani minister spoke of the aspects of data exchange in combat against terrorism, separatism and extremism. He, in particular, touched upon the cyber-terrorism threatening security of states, stressing necessity of expedient propaganda and information combat.

Mahmudov highly appraised foreign partnership in ensuring regional and international security, expressing readiness to cooperate in this sphere.

In meeting, heads of delegations has adopted a Memo underlining necessity of the strengthening of coordination of efforts of the Commonwealth states, urged for regular and immediate information exchange, to develop the legal base for cooperation in bilateral and multilateral fields.
