MNS neutralizes transnational gang

The Ministry officers confiscated nearly 105kg of illicit drugs during the operation.

The Ministry Public Affairs Center told the APA on August 28 during the survey of the truck belonging to Iranian AbbaspurFaramaz Nostarabad Bahman, 59 kg of hashish and over 7 kg of opium were found. Ganja resident Salmanzadeh Musa, who ordered the narcotic drugs as well as several other members of the transnational organized gang have been detained. Different guns and 173kg of hashish were confiscated from them.

It turned out that these narcotic drugs sent by an Iranian called Parviz were planned to be smuggled to Russia.

Criminal case was launched under articles 206.4, 234.4.1 and 234.4.3 of Criminal Code.
