Azeri schoolboys scoop 4 medals at European championship

The European boxing championship for schoolchildren wrapped up in the Ukrainian city of Nikolayev.

The best result in the Azerbaijan team was posted by Salman Ibrahimov (38.5 kg) who beat Lithuanian rival Edgaras Okurdelis to mount the highest step on the podium.

Tamerland Abdullayev (46 kg) claimed silver while Kamran Teymurov (52 kg) and Samir Hajiyev (59 kg) won bronze medals.
