East-West Film Festival due in Baku

The 8th International East-West Film Festival is due to be held September 4-9 in Baku.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held in the Heydar Aliyev Palace, according to the Cinematographers' Union. The films of 10 countries will be shown in the festival.

At least two films will be shown each day in 'Azerbaijan' and 'Ibrus”' cinemas of Baku. Along with watching the films made in Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Central Asian nations and others, the festival participants will partake in the roundtable discussions in Hillside hotel.
