It was claimed that the government do not follow its duties on paying for increase in power energy and for power energy used by special category consumers. MED offered to organize a joint Working Group and the application was considered.

As APA reports, discussion meeting was held between MED representatives and foreign and local lawyers acting for the Company on May 15. The application was proved to have insufficient evidences and lack of supporting documents. Nevertheless, the Working Group expressed its intention to continue talks if enough arguments were submitted at every notification, called the company to strictly follow country's legislation and contract obligations as well as to follow payment obligations and investment program.
It now comes out that Barmek Holding defenders secretly used technical recording equipments to record meeting details. The company was spoken against about this and they were requested to bring a copy of recording to The Ministry. However company officers told that the records had been eliminated. The recording equipment was taken from by MED officers on a formal note.
