On November 26 the Court of Appeals reviewed a complaint of Rauf Arifoglu, Musavat Party deputy chief, candidate for deputy from Sabunchu election constituency III #26.

According to Rauf Arifoglu his claim was not satisfied at the trial held under chairmanship of judge Salman Huseynov. In his complaint Arifoglu argued that election results had been distorted in the constituency where he was a candidate and demanded nullification of the results.

The deputy chief said that he will make cassation complaint about the decision of the Court of Appeals to the Supreme Court in the period of three days. He said that one of the judges who made the decision in the court was biased, and judge Mirza Tagizade is one of the judges who declared 5 year sentence when he was on trial for clashes on October 15-16, 2003.

"I consider participation of the mentioned above judge at the trial to be illegal. So I will raise claim against him," said Arifoglu.
