The five members of the CEC demanded the results of the elections to be annulled in 20 voting precincts due to mass violations. According to a source in the CEC, the group of five headed by Vidadi Makhmudov demanded the CEC to appeal with the request to the President of the country.
“The head of the CEC Mazahir Panahov agreed with the proposal,” said the source.

According to a source in the CEC, the five members were troubled by alleged mass violations in the process of today's elections. The head of the CEC Mazahir Panahov had to call the session since it is required by the law to do so if five members of the CEC demand it.

However, five members not agreeing with the results will not be enough for the CEC to cancel the results of the elctions. For the results to be cancelled six out of 15 members of CEC must refuse to sign the final protocol of elections.
