Special observation mission of European Union not to participate in the elections

The special observation mission of the European Union will not participate in elections”.

APA was informed about it from the Baku embassy of Great Britain which is presiding over the European Union at present.

We should note that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan sent out an invitation to UNO, OSCE, the Council of Europe, European Union and foreign countries on June 10 for observation of the parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan on November 6. OSCE and the Council of Europe have already responded to this invitation and declared the number of the observers.
