Publishing of materials against Azerbaijan has been intensive case in Dagestan press

Alisultan Gazimagomedov- editor- in chief of newspaper "Daghestanien" didn't conceal his hate and intention to Azerbaijan, in his talk with the spokesman of APA. He stated as if discrimination policy is pursued to Avars in northern regions of Azerbaijan. Reminding the fact of killing Nariman Karakhiski-resident of Balaken, Deputy Ali Ansukhski - leader of avar community in 1997 , as to A.Gazimagomedov, this list might be prolonged.

But what were said by A. Gazimagomedov was considered baseless by Dagestan State Council. Northern bureau of APA was informed by Dagestan State Council about, that the opinions said by A. Gazimagomedov referred to Mahachkala newspapers are nothing but lie and slander: "It is pity that, mass media don't respond to the authors of such articles in time. Such articles serve to instigate ethnic terms. Ethnic groups trying to come to power in Dagestan want to take advantage of it. These groups worry about friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Dagestan. Besides it, there are political forces in Dagestan who tend to strain situations in border regions of Dagestan and Azerbaijan."
