Baku marks amazing Days of Ingush Culture

Land of Fire, Baku is marking Days of Ingush Culture from December 1 to 4.

The grandiose opening of the interesting event was held at the State Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev on December 2.

Addressing the event, Head of Baku Culture and Tourism Department Alikram Aliyev spoke about the warm friendship between Azerbaijan and Ingushetia. He underlined the importance of the event as a great opportunity to get familiar with the Ingush culture and art.

Ingush Deputy Culture Minister Ayna Ilyasova conveyed the greetings from Ingush President Yunusbek Evkurov and thanked all the guests and organizers.

She also hoped that Days of Azerbaijani Culture will be held in Ingushetia next year.

The deputy believed that the days will contribute to the development and strengthening of cultural ties as well as exchange of valuable experience in the field of culture and art.

Following, a documentary called “Ingush Culture” was demonstrated, which was warmly applauded by the audience.

Later, a colorful concert program of talented Ingush art people created an unforgettable evening for the guests.

During the concert, Ingush State ensemble of folk dance “Ingushetia” headed by the honored art figure, Ruslan Gadaborshev staged their best choreographies such as "Sunrise in the Mountains", "Meeting in the spring", "Rhythms of Ingushetia" and others.

Music performances by Ingush People’s artist Lubiv Barakhoeva, winner of the national and international competitions, Rahman Bekov and others were held. The performance of the finalist of the children TV show Ragda Khaniyeva was warmly applauded by the visitors.

Azerbaijani baritone operatic and pop singer Muslim Magomayev’s song “Azerbaijan” by Alaudina Esmurziev thrilled up the audience.

As part of the program, the interesting exhibition titled "Ingushetia: History and modernity” opened at the "1969" gallery in Baku on December 2.

The exhibition featured paintings of Ingush artists, as well as the works of art and crafts masters. Complex and unusual jewelry case and samples of wood carving, products made of rock crystal, dolls and costumes were exhibited during the event.

Mardakan Culture Palace will be the venue for the concert programs of Ingush art figures on December 3.
