Deputy FM: Turkey has always supported Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Turkey has always supported Azerbaijan in the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov stated during his speech at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkish media reported.

Azimov delivered a report on "Regional Security: Azerbaijani-Turkish relations" at the University of Bilkent in Ankara on Friday. He devoted most of his speech to the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations.

Azimov has been on visit to Turkey on March 9. The purpose of Azimov's visit is to conduct political consultation, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara reported. On Friday, Azimov also met with Foreign Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu.
