14 February 2011 [12:37] - TODAY.AZ
In recent years, a new way of bilateral relations has been laid between Baku and Ashgabat, the Turkmen ambassador to Azerbaijan Toyli Komekov believes.

"In recent years, a new way of bilateral relations has been laid between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan and mutual visits have become an important part of intensifying the fraternal and friendship ties," Komekov said on Monday speaking at an event on the occasion of the Day of National Flag and the fourth year of Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov's election as the President of Turkmenistan.

"Relations between the two countries are developing dynamically. Cooperation in the energy sphere is important, as both countries are oil and gas powers," the ambassador said.
