Azerbaijani embassy in Bishkek marks Republic Day

The event brought together representatives of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic corps accredited in the country, teaching staff of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, members of Azerbaijani diaspora and businessmen, students and journalists.

Speaking to the event, ambassador Arif Aghayev highlighted the history of the Republic Day. He stressed the role of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Ailyev and President Ilham Aliyev in development of the country.

He also spoke of the scientific, health, educational and cultural projects realized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in and outside of Azerbaijan. Official of Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Asein Isayev congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion. He stressed “opening of Azerbaijani embassy in Bishkek will give a push to development of bilateral relations”.
