Due to tight schedule, because of the visit of a number of foreign officials to Azerbaijan next week, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will trip to neither Strasbourg nor Brussels to participate in a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group soon,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov said.
He was commenting on the OSCE MG statement that the co-chairs expect to organize meeting between Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers in Europe soon to discuss further steps in the Nagorno-Karabakh talks.
"Azerbaijan has already expressed its attitude to the updated Madrid principles and the co-chairs should work more with the Armenian side,” Polukhov added.
"Based on the updated Madrid principles, Azerbaijan is ready to move to next level of the Azerbaijani-Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh talks which will allow to achieve a comprehensive settlement to the conflict," he said.
