27 April 2010 [15:20] - TODAY.AZ
OSCE fails to hold the monitoring of the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops contact line scheduled for today nearby the Farahli village in the Gazakh region of Azerbaijan.

OSCE was not able to hold the monitoring under a mandate of the OSCE chairman special envoy due to worsening weather conditions and heavy rains, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported. The OSCE's cars could not manage to move upwards, the ministry reported.

The monitoring was to be held on the Azerbaijani side by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative field assistants Peter Key, William Pryor and Antal Herdich.

The monitoring was to be held on the opposite side, which the international community recognizes as Azerbaijani territory, by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk's field assistants Imre Palatinus and Vladimir Chountulov.
