Iranian official: Representatives of different faiths should work together to resist occupation in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and Karabakh

Representatives of the different faiths need to unite to confront the occupation in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Nagorno-Karabakh, Iranian Interfaith Approach Committee Head Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri said at the Baku World Religious Leaders' Summit.

"We need to coordinate our efforts to resist the occupation in Palestine, Iraq,aAfghanistan, and Nagorno-Karabakh," Taskhiri said.

One should speak out against the occupation and reject globalization, he added.

The Baku World Religious Leaders' Summit is attended by 250 representatives of various confessions from 35 countries worldwide.
