Azerbaijani President congratulates Pope Benedict XVI on Coronation Day

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a message of congratulation to Pope Benedict XVI on the Coronation day.

“I am sure Azerbaijan-Vatican relations, our friendship and cooperation will be steadily developing and strengthening in the name of triumph of ideas of humanism and human values,” the letter said.

The Head of State wished Benedict XVI good health, success in his mission and coreligionists peace and welfare.
