CIS official: President Ilham Aliyev can give much to people of Azerbaijan

“I have been to Azerbaijan more than once in Soviet times. Now, we learn about the development of present Azerbaijan from CIS statistical reports. To tell the truth, the situation in this area encourages us. We met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday. He specified the achievements and plans of Azerbaijan... His story coincides fine with our estimation. I am extremely delighted and amazed to see beautiful roads, buildings, and massive construction projects in Azerbaijan. It’s an evidence of dynamic development of the country”, Alexander Zavarzin, Head of the Information and Analytical Department of CIS Executive Committee, said, while attending the 11th meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS State New Agencies in Baku.

Dwelling on the meeting agenda, Zavarzin said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for highly-skilled journalists to communicate”.

“I have known President Ilham Aliyev since his student years in Moscow. Now I often meet him at the meetings of the Heads of States.

Today he is a politician, grown wise with experience, and at the same time he is young enough and quite dynamic. President of Azerbaijan senses future prospects; this is why he can give much to the people of Azerbaijan”, Zavarzin emphasized.
