Azerbaijan donates $500,000 to Haiti relief efforts

"Azerbaijan has decided to donate $500,000 to Haiti relief efforts," Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Elkhan Polukhov said.
"This amount will be transferred to the account opened by the United nations specifically for this purpose and will be distributed under patronage of the organization, he said.

"At the moment, all necessary internal procedures are carried out to transfer these funds for the Haiti relief as soon as possible," Polukhov added.
