Chief of Association of Dutch Friends of Azerbaijan elected president of Senate

Rene van der Linden, Chairman of the Association of Dutch friends of Azerbaijan, has been elected the President of the Netherlands' Senate.

From 2005 to 2008 Van der Linden was president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and his tenure was marked with the adoption of a resolution supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
