Azerbaijani president congratulates President of Islamic Republic of Mauritania

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on Independence Day, country’s national holiday on Nov. 26.

“I congratulate you and your people on national holiday  - Independence Day on my own behalf and on behalf of Azerbaijani people,” the message of congratulation said.

“I hope the Azerbaijani-Mauritanian friendly ties and cooperation will develop even more. I extend you my best wishes and wish your friendly people peace and prosperity,” the president said in a message.
