We have nominated more women and youth for municipal elections: Azerbaijani ruling party official

“Ruling New Azerbaijan Party has nominated candidates for all elections districts,” NAP senior official Mubariz Gurbanli said.
He said currently the party is preparing for election campaign.

“Strategic data about our candidates can be accessed via the party’s official Web site,” Gurbanli said.

“Our candidates include men, women and youth. We tried to nominate more women and youth for the municipal elections,” he said.

Azerbaijan will hold municipal elections on Dec. 23. The candidates will contest 15,682 places in 1,718 municipalities.
