Azerbaijani MP to attend un conference against corruption in Doha

Member of Azerbaijan Parliament (Milli Majlis) Bakhtiyar Aliyev will be attending the third session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the next meeting of Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption to be held in Doha, Qatar on Nov. 7-13.

The event will focus on the implementation of tasks stemming from the UN Convention against Corruption.

Aliyev will spoke of the laws and statutory acts on fight against corruption adopted in his country.

The Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption was established to improve the capacity of and cooperation between States parties to achieve the objectives set forth in the Convention and to promote and review its implementation.
