Azerbaijani deputy FM leaves for Ashgabat

A delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov left for Ashgabat on Nov. 4.
The delegation will attend the meeting of the working group on the Caspian Sea legal status, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The meeting will take place on Nov. 5-6, 2009.

The experts led by the deputy foreign ministers of the Caspian littoral states are in the working group, which will develop its work on the Convention on Caspian Legal Status.

The summit of the leaders of the Caspian littoral states will be held next year in Baku.
