Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran replaced

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued an order to recall Azerbaijani ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Nov. 2.
Abbasali Karam Hasanov, Azerbaijan’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran, has been recalled.

Under another order of the President, in accordance with the law on “Diplomatic service”, diplomatic rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary has been given to Javanshir Ashraf Akhundov.

The head of state also issued an order to appoint Javanshir Akhundov Azerbaijan’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Iran.
