CIS Council of defense minister to convene

CIS Council of Defense Ministers will meet in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Nov. 9-10, the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry said.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev will attend the meeting.

The CIS Council of Defense Ministers was set up on Feb. 14, 1992.

It includes Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
