“I think appointment of a new co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group will not impact resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Azerbaijani political expert Zardusht Alizade said commenting on Robert Bradtke’s recent appointment as OSCE Minsk Group co-chair from the United States.

“The United States appoints people who will pursue country’s policy on basis of guidance by State Department and the president. U.S. policy in the region is clear,” the political expert said.
“I think that if this is a career diplomat, he will carry out its work as brilliantly as his predecessor Matthew Bryza did,” Alizade said.
“I believe personality of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs has no impact on resolution of the conflict,” he said.
