Uzbek ambassador to Azerbaijan: We favor peaceful resolution to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

“Uzbekistan has always favored and will further favor peaceful and political solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and complying with UN Security Council resolutions and OSCE decisions,” Uzbek ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismatulla Irgashev said.
He said Uzbekistan believes ensuring Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity is one of the major conditions of the conflict’s resolution.

“Uzbekistan believes that the model of resolution of the conflict that Azerbaijan offers is optimal and acceptable,” he said.
