Russian foreign ministry comments on Turkey-Armenia protocols

“Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the news on Armenia and Turkey readiness to launch the process of internal consultations over the ‘Protocol on Establishment of Diplomatic Relations’ and ‘Protocol on Development of Bilateral Relations," the ministry said in a statement.

"Armenia and Turkey both are friendly states for us. We consider progress in normalization of their relations as a logical and long overdue process. We will be glad if the consultations, that are exceptionally internal business of the two states, will lead to substantive agreements, the statement said.
