Armenia continues to enrich itself by selling drugs grown in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov said.

“Arms and ammunition in Nagorno-Karabakh and those procured by Armenia are mainly bought from sales of drugs grown in Azerbaijan’s occupied territories and transit of drugs through these territories,” Hasanov, who also heads the State Commission for Combating Drug Trafficking and State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, said in an interview with a local TV channel.
He said the sum spent to grow drugs brings income worth $12,000 per dollar invested.
“Now think of the sum Armenia receives from Azerbaijan’s occupied lands,” Hasanov added.
