World Azerbaijanis Congress activists lay black wreath at Chinese embassy in Baku

Nearly 100 activists led by WAC co-chair Sabir Rustamkhanli assembled in front of the embassy and laid a black wreath, WAC representative Samir Asadli said.

He said WAC supports Uighurs’ struggle for independence and protests against any pressure on Turks.

“The organization calls on China to release the arrested Uighurs and stop repressions,” he said.
